Streaming Video delivered via the Flash Player provides a simple and high-quality solution for video on the Internet. No other media players are needed!
More than 98.3% of all web surfers are Flash-ready (source), making this the best and highest quality "one-click" solution for superior streaming video delivery.

Why is Flash better for delivering steaming video?
The latest advances in the Flash application have made it the optimal solution for high-quality, compressed video. Platform-specific players
are no longer needed.
The original video content is compressed in Sorenson Squeeze™ to produce
the highest possible quality at the lowest possible file size. Two versions are exported (a smaller file for dial-up users, and a larger file for broadband users).
The resulting file is then imported to Flash, where user interface controls are applied. The file is then exported again in its web-ready streaming format.
No more third-party video players needed. The Flash player is embedded into the web browser, and, if a user still doesn't have the updated Flash Player, it's a fast, free and
easy download.
Instructional videos, commercials, promotions . . . video content has an impact on your customers!

Video Requirements
Please follow these instructions when supplying BuildingOnline with videos to be produced for your web site or web-based project:
Acceptable Formats:
Digital: One MPEG-4 video file, with separate video and audio tracks works best. Do NOT send muxed MPEG-4 video files. If the MPEG-4 video file is provided with an embedded audio track, this will take longer and increase the final video encoding cost. BuildingOnline can work with "other video source file formats" to encode your video into a streaming Flash video, however, these other formats will take longer to encode, add cost and will not produce the best quality Flash streaming video.
VHS: If you do not have a digital source file, we can encode a web-based version of your video from a VHS tape. Please keep in mind that starting from a VHS tape will result in higher costs and slightly diminished quality, compared to a digital MPEG-4 source file.
